This Privacy Policy explains how UNIQUE-EDGE INNOVATIONS LTD (“we”, “us”) handles information in the QuickPDF mobile application (the “App”). QuickPDF is a PDF toolkit: you can view, merge, split, compress, convert, sign, scan, redact and chat with PDF documents.

The short version. QuickPDF works without an account. Most tools run entirely on your device. We do not sell your data. Some features (AI chat, file conversions) send the document you choose to our backend so it can be processed; AI features use Google’s Gemini API. We show ads (which you can remove with Premium).

1. Information we process

Anonymous device identifier. QuickPDF creates an anonymous account tied to a device identifier (Android ID / iOS identifierForVendor) to track usage limits and Premium status. It is not linked to your name, email, or a personal account.
Documents you choose to process. Basic tools (merge, split, compress, rotate, reorder, delete pages, page numbers, watermark, images↔PDF, lock/unlock, scan, redact, on-device OCR) run locally on your device and are not uploaded.
AI Chat & Summarize. The extracted text of the selected PDF and your question are sent to our backend, which forwards them to the Google Gemini API to generate a response.
File conversions. Office/HTML conversions upload the file you select to our backend conversion service, then return the result.
Advertising & diagnostics. Google AdMob may process an advertising identifier and basic device/usage data to serve and measure ads.
Support. If you email us, we receive your email address and message.

2. How we use information

To provide the PDF tools, AI features and conversions you request.
To enforce free-tier usage limits and unlock Premium features.
To display and measure ads (free tier) and keep the App reliable and secure.
To respond to support requests.

3. Document handling & retention

On-device operations leave your documents on your device. For AI and conversion features, files/text are transmitted over HTTPS, processed, and not retained longer than necessary to complete the request. We do not use your document content to train AI models.

5. Advertising & your choices

Free users see ads via Google AdMob. On iOS we request App Tracking Transparency permission before any cross-app tracking, and where required we present a consent prompt (Google UMP). If you do not allow tracking, you will still see ads, but non-personalized. Purchasing Premium removes ads.

6. Purchases

Premium subscriptions are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

7. Data deletion

QuickPDF has no personal account. You may clear local data by uninstalling the App. To request deletion of data tied to your anonymous device identifier, email support@uniqueedge.dev.

8. Children

QuickPDF is a general-purpose productivity tool, not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Security

Data in transit is protected with HTTPS/TLS. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information.

10. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, with appropriate safeguards where required.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date.
